Quick Product Setup

The quick product wizard is designed for speed. It works best when you want to get a simple product into one or more stores with minimal configuration.

Best use cases

• adding a straightforward product with a single price
• creating a product before you decide on advanced merchandising
• seeding a catalog before refining listings, media, SEO, or variants

What to complete in the wizard

• Name and slug so the product is identifiable internally and reusable across stores
• Base price as the default price anchor
• Product type and featured image for quick presentation
• Inventory basics if you already know stock and SKU
• Store assignments if you want the product available immediately

Fastest path

If speed matters most, the wizard now supports a real quick-create path:

• fill in name, base price, and product type
• use a store template or AI draft to preload the product type when possible
• click Create Draft Now to save immediately
• click Create and Keep Editing if you want to land in the full editor right after creation

Featured image, inventory, store assignments, and tags can all be finished later.

When to switch to the full editor

Use the full product editor when you need:

• variants or option sets
• store-specific media and SEO
• detailed shipping setup
• subscription or digital fulfillment details
• richer product content such as FAQ, specs, and testimonials
